Fall Protection Subpart M Fall Protection 29 CFR 1926

Target Audience: Employees who work on ladders, scaffolding or any other elevated surface where fall protection is required by law.

This course covers the OSHA Fall Protection Standards and an overview of fall protection methods.

Topics covered include the principles of fall protection, the components of fall arrest systems, fall arrest system criteria, fall arrest system practices, training requirement and rescue. Students will participate in demonstrating the inspection and use of fall protection equipment, evaluating fall protection systems, and planning for a fall protection system rescue.
