Training That Meet And Exceed CSTI Requirements
All course instructors are CSTI certified outreach instructors with a minimum of 20 years Fire/HazMat emergency response and extensive teaching and training backgrounds.
All successful course participants receive a CSTI course certificate.
We specialize in fixed facilities, with training and education in the transport, receiving, storing, handling and usage of hazardous materials of your particular site.
We emphasize safety, provide in-depth knowledge of your specific on site hazards, and recommend the proper level of the Personnel Protective Equipment needed for your site specific needs.
We offer on site consultation and periodic site safety checks.
We provide recurring training annually that meets and or exceeds the OSHA requirements
Hazmat/Fire Extinguisher Classes
Fire Extinguisher
This 1-hour, Fire Extinguisher, course is intended for any employee who has the potential to encounter an unplanned fire during their assigned duties. This 1-hour class focuses on the classification of fire extinguishers and how they work, emergency reporting procedures, and hands on training with real CO2 fire extinguisher utilizing a live fire propane training prop. Employee will be given a certification on completion.

Hazmat First Responder Awareness
This 8-hour, HazMat Fire Responder Awareness, course is intended for any employee who, by the nature of their duties, has the potential to encounter hazardous materials. This 1-day class focuses on training first responders to recognize a hazardous materials incident and implement actions to protect themselves and the public, and make proper notifications, as per applicable OSHA regulations and NFPA 472.

Hazmat First Responder Operations
This 24-hour, HazMat First Responder Operations (FRO), course is intended for any employee who works with hazardous materials or responds to emergencies involving hazardous materials, for the purpose of protecting nearby persons, the environment, or property from the effects of the release. This 3-day class trains first responders at the operational level to respond in a defensive manner to releases, or potential releases of hazardous substances as part of an initial response. The content focuses on defensive tactics a responder can use to protect persons, the environment, and property from the effects of a hazardous materials release.

Hazmat Technician (PRIVATE INDUSTRY)
This 24-hour, HazMat Technician (Private Industry), course fulfills the requirements of NFPA 1072, NFPA 472, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 for hazardous materials responder technician. This 3-day course focuses on basic chemistry and provides the emergency responder with the knowledge to respond to releases, or potential releases, for the purpose of stopping the release. The function of the responder is to plug, patch, or stop the release of hazardous substances. Practical exercises and teamwork are included. A certification test is required for the completion of the course. Prerequisite-Hazmat First Responder Operations.

Hazmat Incident Commander
This 16-hour, HazMat Incident Commander, course is intended for any employee who will responds to emergencies involving Hazardous Materials as a Incident Commander and who will be responsible for all incident activities, including the devolopement of strategies and tactics and the ordering and release of resources. This 2-day course covers the Incident Command System, Emergency Response Plans, hazards, and risks of personnel operating in chemical PPE, and the importance ofdecontamination procedures. In addition to the practical exercises, a certification test is required for the completion of the course. Prerequisite Hazmat First Responder Operations and ICS-100.

Hazmat Ground Shipper (DOT)
This 8-hour, HazMat Ground Shipper (DOT), course is intended for any employee who reads and interprets regulations, supervises or trains hazmat employees, signs shipping papers, classifies or names hazardous materials, complies with reporting and recordkeeping mandates, or has overall responsibilitiesis for hazmat shipping compliance. This 1-day course is designed to meet the US DOT General awareness, security awareness, and function-specific training mandates. US DOT requires training for all hazmat shipper mush be repeated every three years.
